Skype is an online teleconferencing service that is similar to talking on the phone except it’s through your computer. It also includes optional video. It requires a download of software to your computer, and a headset (headphones/microphone) that you connect to your computer. The advantage of Skype is that when you make a Skype-to-Skype call, it is free, even if you are located in different countries. For your convenience, private sessions can be held via telephone or Skype.
